Google Business Profile Optimization

For most local businesses the profile gets seen more than the website does. It’s also the thing nobody has touched since the day they claimed it. We go through what’s already there and fix it — categories, photos, posts, services, and the questions customers are asking. No rebuild, no new profile, no moving your reviews.

What we actually change

We work on the profile you already own, in your account, with you reviewing before anything publishes.

Categories, properly

Your primary category decides which searches you’re eligible for at all. Most profiles pick the obvious one and stop. We set the primary deliberately and add every secondary that genuinely applies.

Questions and answers

You’re allowed to post questions on your own profile and answer them. Almost nobody does. We seed the questions customers actually ask and answer them properly — so the answer is yours, not a stranger’s guess.

Your photos, used properly

You send us what you already have — product, team, jobs you’ve done. We don’t come out and shoot them. We name and caption them around what people search for instead of IMG_4471, and clear out anything old or off-brand.

Posts, actually published

Google posts expire and most profiles sit blank. We write and publish a set so the profile looks like a business that’s open.

Services and products, itemized

Each service written up with its own description. This is the section Google and AI assistants quote back when someone asks what you do — so it’s worth writing well.

The details that quietly decide it

Description rewritten, attributes set, hours and holiday hours correct, service area right, and your website link tagged so you can finally see what the profile actually sends you.

You keep everything

We request manager access, you approve it, and you can remove it whenever you like. We never need your Google password and your reviews never move.

A list of what changed

When we hand back you get a short, plain-English summary of every change we made and the handful of things worth doing yourself each month.

Let’s go.

Send us the business name and a folder of photos. About a week later the profile is doing its job.

Why the category matters more than anything else

Everything else on a profile is presentation. The category is eligibility. Pick the wrong primary and you are not competing badly for the searches you want — you are not entered in them. It is the single most common reason a business with good reviews and a real address still doesn’t appear on the map, and it takes about ninety seconds to check and years to notice.

How it works

Three steps, and the only real work on your end is sending photos.

Step 1

Audit

We go through your profile against what your competitors in the map pack are categorized as, and write down what’s missing.

Step 2

Fix

Categories, description, services, attributes, photos, posts and Q&A — done in your profile, with you reviewing before anything publishes.

Step 3

Hand back

You keep full ownership throughout. We send a short list of what changed and what to keep doing monthly.

What it costs

One-time optimization is $495. If you’d rather we keep posting, answering questions and adding photos every month, Google Business Profile is part of our social media management at $395 a month — or $895 a month for all three platforms including Facebook and LinkedIn.

Don’t have a profile at all yet? That’s a different job and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth doing — some businesses aren’t eligible. And if your Facebook or LinkedIn pages need the same treatment, that’s our profile buildout: $495 for one platform, $890 for both.

Let’s look at your profile.

Send us the business name and we’ll tell you what’s wrong with it before you pay anything. No obligation, and no pitch if the answer is that you don’t need us.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How much does Google Business Profile optimization cost?
$495, one time. There is no retainer and no contract. If you would rather have it maintained every month than fixed once, that is $395 a month, which also covers posting and answering questions on an ongoing basis.
Will this get me into the map pack?
Nobody can promise that, and anyone who does is guessing. The map pack is decided largely by category, proximity and prominence – and category is the one you fully control. Most profiles we look at are leaving it on the table.
What do you actually change on the profile?
Primary and secondary categories, the business description, itemized services and products, attributes, hours and holiday hours, service area, photos renamed and captioned around what people search for, published Google posts, and seeded questions and answers. We also tag your website link so you can finally see what the profile sends you.
Do you take the photos?
No, we work with what you have. Send us product shots, team photos, jobs you have completed – whatever is on your phone – and we handle naming, captioning and ordering them. If you genuinely have nothing usable we will say so, because photos matter here.
Do you need my Google login?
No. We request manager access to your profile, you approve it, and you can remove it whenever you like. The profile stays yours the whole time and your reviews never move.
How long does it take?
About a week, most of which is us waiting on photos from you. Changes to categories and services can take Google a few days to show publicly.
What if my profile is suspended or not verified?
Tell us before you buy. Reinstatement is a different problem with a different success rate, and we would rather say so up front than take the money.
